Today's teaser comes from the book I'm currently reading/struggling through, Jennifer Donnelly's
Revolution
. I want to be able to like this one, and I love parts of it, but I'm not sure if I'm enjoying it as a whole yet. Only time will tell I guess. Anyway, here's the tease, from one of the parts I did enjoy (page 168):
I have stolen. I have deceived. I have damaged things and people. And yet nothing grieves me more than to think he now remembers that night.
And calls me a liar.
